A legacy of commitment and trust is the foundation of Pawn World in Kingman, Arizona, the heart of Mohave County. Over the course of decades our family-run business has built a legacy of service, value, and community pride.
Pawn World is a Kingman institution that has grown from humble beginnings into the largest pawn shop in Arizona. We take pride in being a shining example of how staying true to your roots can lead to remarkable growth.
Established in the 1990s, Pawn World began as a small, family-owned shop in the former Greyhound Bus terminal just one block off Route 66 in the historic heart of Kingman. From the day our doors opened our mission has been simple: treat people fairly, offer great deals, and become a trusted resource for both buyers and sellers.
A Legacy of Commitment and Trust
Whether you were a collector on the hunt for vintage treasures, someone in need of quick cash, or are just curious about the ever-changing inventory, Pawn World welcomed you with honesty, professionalism, and a neighborly smile. That commitment to integrity helped our shop and our customers weather economic storms and boom times alike.
And that provided the opportunity to meet the changing needs of the community. Over the years, Pawn World became known for more than just pawns and loans. We have become a destination.
Our ever-changing and growing inventory included everything from tools and electronics to jewelry, musical instruments, rare collectibles, and firearms. Today, we are recognized as one of the premier gun dealers in northwest Arizona. We serve everyone from sportsmen to collectors with expert knowledge and competitive pricing.
In July 2025, Pawn World turned the page on an exciting new chapter with the grand opening of our new flagship store at 3015 N. Stockton Hill Road. For longtime Kingman residents this was originally the offices and distribution center for the Kingman Daily Miner.
This isn’t just a bigger space to replace our original downtown store. It represents a bold investment in Kingman’s future. And it is an example of our commitment to neighbors. More than twice the size of our previous location on Beale Street, this modern state-of-the-art facility is now officially the largest pawn shop in Arizona.
Dawn of New Era
The new Stockton Hill Road location is designed with both customers and community in mind. The spacious layout makes browsing easier and more enjoyable. Improved parking ensures a hassle-free visit. With more room for inventory, Pawn World can now offer an even greater variety of products, from high-end firearms to rare collectibles and deals that you won’t find anywhere else.
This new store isn’t just about size. It is a manifestation of the trust we have earned. And it is a manifestation of our commitment. A commitment to Kingman. A commitment to the customers who’ve supported Pawn World for decades. And a commitment to the core belief that local businesses can thrive when they invest back in their community.
In an era when big box chains and impersonal online shopping dominate, Pawn World has stayed grounded in what made us successful: local service with a personal touch. That’s why, even with the new flagship location open and thriving, Pawn World continues to operate the second Kingman store at 1822 E. Northern Avenue. This too is a testament to our deep roots in the community as well as our mission to serve Kingman area residents.
But Pawn World’s impact goes far beyond retail. Over the years, we have quietly supported local causes, helped families in tough spots, and provided a trustworthy option for those needing financial flexibility. Our presence in Kingman isn’t just a commercial enterprise. We are woven into the fabric of a town that appreciates commitment, loyalty and hard work.
As Pawn World celebrates this major milestone, our message is loud and clear. We are just getting started. We are here to stay.
The new store is more than a retail space. We envision it as a beacon of economic growth, community engagement, and retail innovation. Whether you’re a longtime customer or a first-time visitor, Pawn World invites you to stop by, hunt for treasures, and experience what hometown service at Arizona’s largest pawn shop truly feels like.
